PARTICIPATION AT THE FAIR eat&STYLE
Who can become an exhibitor at the eat&STYLE?
Are you a brand manufacturer or retailer that offers high-quality products around the topics food, beverages, culinary delight, kitchen equipment, apartment accessories or table decorations?
Perfect, then you are just the right kind of exhibitor for the eat&STYLE!

| Cologne | 16th - 18th November 2012 |
| Stuttgart | 23rd - 25th November 2012 |
What are the highlights offered at the eat&STYLE?
The ultimate highlight at our fair is the culinary theatre in Cologne and the show-cooking stages in Munich and Stuttgart with several live shows every day, performed by German celebrity chefs like Tim Mälzer, Alexander Herrmann or Stefan Marquard. In each show, they present current food trends or special products and recipes in front of up to 800 viewers. In addition, cooking courses, seminars and hands-on-actions, all together complete the multiplex program.

What are the advantages of the different stand types?
Market stand: open on 1 side
The market stand is the most booked and most inexpensive type of stand at our fair. With this stand construction you can occupy only small areas in the hall. By designing this stand, particularly the open floor space, you need to make sure that one element is used in a way to catch visitors eyes and attention.
Corner stand: open on 2 sides
The two open sides of the corner stand clearly offer more chances to get in contact with visitors than the market stand does. Especially interesting for the stand design is the open corner that is usually used by the visitors to make a shortcut. Consequently, the visitor reaches your stand and can be picked up there.
Space only two-corner stand: open on 3 sides
The two-corner stand offers several opportunities to design your perfect fair presentation. Since the two-corner stand is positioned between two parallel gangways, a specific minimum size of your fair stand is required.
Space only island stand: open on 4 sides
Island stands can be entered from all 4 sides.
The fair eat&STYLE offers different opportunities for sponsoring. Become a sponsor of the show-cooking stages, our adventure stages or lounges. Please contact us for detailed information or other options.
When do I have to make the first payments for attendance?
After a binding registration for our fair, all exhibitors based in a foreign country have to pay 100% of the total costs immediately.
Can I choose the placement in the exhibition hall?
Your placement in the hall in relation to your position and adjacent exhibitors can be adjusted with the eat&STYLE team. We start planning your placement in the hall after your registration. Your will receive your suggested position directly. This is subject to change without notice.
What else can I do to present my products?
You as an exhibitor have the additional opportunity to offer your products and your special know-how in a seminar or workshop. If you are interested in further information about seminars or workshops please contact Mr. Malte Hansen by calling +49 40 66 906 934 or e-mailing him at malte.hansen@fleet-events.de.
QUESTIONS ON THE REGISTRATION FORM
What does the marketing package mentioned on the registration form include?
The marketing package is mandatory and includes the basic entry in the print and online exhibitor listing, free advertising material and a contingent of free tickets for the eat&STYLE (depending on your booth size and area in the hall). Whether big or small, each company gets the same presence in the hall as well as the same expenses but also the same multiplex advantages.
Why do you have an environmental charge and what does it mean?
The environmental charge has to be paid by every exhibitor and cannot be discounted. All garbage expenses that arise from the beginning until the end of the fair will be paid by this charge.
Do you have a registration deadline?
The registration deadline usually ends 6 weeks before each fair starts. The general rule is:
The earlier you register for your exhibition attendance the better we are able to fulfil all of your wishes. Please keep in mind that further bookings for power, carpet or furniture need some lead time.
FAIR PREPARATION
At what time do I get more information as an exhibitor?
Around two months before the fair starts you will find a detailed service file in the exhibitor menu on our website www.eat-and-style.de. You will find all information you need in this file, from the fair procedures to additional services that are offered. In due course you will also receive your log in data for the exhibitor menu on our website.
What opportunities do exhibitors have with their booth construction (furnishing, light…)?
The fair booth as figurehead / business card of your company subsists on corporate design, your ideas and your creativity. For the basic design of the booth the rule is that visitors need an eye catcher to be aware of your products. They usually prefer construction designs that show quickly and easily who you are as a company and what kind of products you offer. The most important design element is the light. Light principally creates a special atmosphere and attention.
The single locations where the eat&STYLE takes place have different features. You will get to know all those specific features compiled in the service file 2 months before the fair starts. Do you need furnishing, flower arrangements or catering at your booth? By receiving the service file with all the forms, you can easily order your individual service.
How and when do I get my exhibitor pass?
You will receive the exhibitor passes right on the exhibition grounds. The number of passes per exhibitor depends on the booked size of the booth:
• Up to 6 square metres = 2 passes
• Up to 12 square metres = 3 passes
• Up to 24 square metres = 4 passes
• Up to 36 square metres = 5 passes
• Starting at 50 square metres = a maximum of 8 passes
What else do I have to keep in mind when constructing my own booth?
Whatever catches your eye first then attracts the feet! Eye catchers are the key to attracting visitors! Let the visitors experience your products and make them participate. The optimum would be a communication zone for personal conversations with interested visitors. Here are a few more tips:
1. Inspire visitors with special actions at your booth.
Attractive experiences will extend the visitor’s stay and buying desire.
2. The atmosphere should be always relaxed and friendly.
3. Use your booth for a representative presentation. Stock goods should
be stored in a separate area that can be booked individually –
please ask us!
4. Your fair booth should be ideally clean and neat at all times to best
present your products.
5. There should always be a sufficient amount of advertising material available.
6. Your booth should be staffed at all times.
What requirements does my booth staff have to meet?
You should always be on a par with visitors!
A day at the fair means being on your feet all day long. Your booth staff consequently has to be physically and emotionally fit to meet the extraordinary demands. Therefore, your booth staff should:
1. be able to approach people/visitors,
2. always be well-groomed,
3. be able to listen attentively,
4. have perfect presentation skills,
5. know the competitors and their products and services,
6. be able to keep a level head even in stressful situations and be able to
handle them,
7. always be friendly and helpful.

WARNING: AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO OUR EXHIBITORS - Expensive catalogue entry in the Expo-Guide
We would herewith like to point out that the company Commercial Online Manuals S de RL de CV, based in Mexico, has written to a large number of our exhibitors to convince them to purchase an entry in their Expo Guide, which is an online exhibitor listing. The fine print of their offer form includes a clause that stipulates a three-year-contract with a yearly payment of 1181.00 € if the form is signed. Please be careful!
We need to point out that this isn’t our exhibitor listing but an independent listing at www.expo-guide.com that is in part subject to charge. To clear up any misunderstandings once and for all: we do not have any contractual relationship with Commercial Online Manuals S de RL de CV.
Please contact our publishing house partner named Neureuter Fair Media Verlag to secure your official company presence in the exhibitor listing and the fair planner. Other offers from different publishers are not related to FLEET Foodshow GmbH.
Please feel free to call us if you have any questions.

FAIR FOLLOW-UP
What does successful fair participation look like?
Two questions are crucial for a successful participation at the fair:
1. Did we succeed in targeting the right visitor segment with our booth?
2. Did we succeed in fulfiling visitors’ expectations with the presentation at our booth and with the behaviour and performance of our staff and thus establish a preference in comparison to competitors?
Do you have any further questions? Our eat&STYLE team will be happy to assist you!
